You don't need a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) to understand how crucial it is to know acronyms related to academics and science. All you have to do is look at the curriculum. An AA (Associate of Arts)? An MBA (Masters of Business Administration)? How will you know if you don't brush up on your abbreviations?
